GUIDANCE OVERCOME DIRECTION OUTREACH, MINISTRIES, INC. was formed and founded by Pastor Gilbert
J. Glover during the year of 1999. G.O.D. Outreach Ministries is designed especially for the male factor, who
is overwhelmed with many addictions, and has no direction or clue how to be a role model or stay employed, and is
confused about what God's plan is for his life.
We offer “Shelter During the Storm,” a place to refresh
yourself, spirit, soul and mind with the support of others to help you follow the direction of God as you overcome your
SINFUL LIFE.
“Addiction Victorious” is offered at least twice a week
for those that are still struggling with their addiction. With the support of another church, we have been able to have a
house meeting in two areas of the city. A place formed and founded in year of 2003 by Pastor and members for families
and single person to come and worship is G.O.D. Outreach Church during our Sunday Morning Worship and Friday evening services
held weekly.
Every 4th Sunday of each month, we have “He Fed Them.” Not only
do we address spiritual food for their soul, we address feeding their natural body also. For the future we hope to continue
this weekly.
If they are in need of their body to be covered, there is “Clothes in the
Closet” for the whole family.
For the encouragements and support to the female we are establishing “Precious
Mothers.”
For the encouragement and support to the youth we will be reestablishing “First
Step Youth Outreach.”
Since 1999, a radio broadcast has been established for everyone listening in called “Healing
Time” on WSIV 1540 AM in Syracuse, NY from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45
a.m. from Monday to Thursday. As of August, 2006, our radio broadcast time has changed to 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and our days
have changed to Monday through Friday every week. A new time has been added since August of 2005: we join in with Saturday
Morning Gospel with Cora at 11:30 a.m. weekly.
To assist in the funds rasing to help support the entire ministries we have “Minnie
Past 2 Gilbert Bakery.”
